Strainer Valves / Y Type Strainers

YASH” make Strainers are specialized for removing solids from flowing liquids, Air, Steam or gases by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. The strainer improves the clearance in the medium, and prolongs the life of valves; protect expensive pumps, meters and other equipments. They are designed to remove pipeline debris, such as rust and pipe scale. Strainers will protect components such as valves, temperature and pressure regulators, steam traps, pumps and other process equipments from possible damage and help ensure that heat transfer surface are kept free from deposit built-up.

Strainer are available in Angle “T” & 'Y' type , and are available in Cast Iron ,Cast Steel , MS Fabricated , Flange type, provided with filter element. Filter element is made from Brass/ Bronze/ Stainless Steel and supported with perforated sheet. Sizes available from 15 mm to 500 mm and strainers are tested at required pressure at our works prior to dispatch.
